Health & Happiness U.P. Magazine's Fall 2008 issue is now available in Marquette County & Munising! Health & Happiness comes out 4 times/year and offers information and perspectives for greater well-being by Michigan's U.P. writers and practitioners. We now distribute 4,000 copies to over 100 locations!

We are excited to introduce 2 more new columns - Gifts From Nature, and Money Minding, a financial wellness column, by a changing roster of well-informed writers.

Other regular columns include Herbal Options by Victoria Jungwirth, Green Living by Steve Waller, Holistic Animal Care by Jenny Magli, Healthy Cooking by Val Wilson, and Creative Inspiration by Kim Nixon, and Positive Parenting, by a variety of writers.

Sat., Nov. 15 - Self-Healing Through the Chakras: A Transformative Day at the Page Center in Little Lake, MI. Using multiple paths of perception, you'll deepen and expand your sense of your own chakras, their relationship to your everyday life and how to increase their balance and vitality. In a relaxing, supportive environment, surrounded by the soothing natural beauty of the Page Center, we'll discover the messages of the chakras through guided meditation, vibration-raising techniques, simple movements, energetic self-healing, poetry reading, self-awareness questionnaires, journaling, sound-making and collaging. We'll even share some "chakra snacks"!

Retreat is 10 am - 6 pm, $85 with pre-paid registration by Nov. 8th, $95 after if space available.
